FAQ/ :

Q: What is HID?

A: HID stands for high intensity discharge. The system works on an arc technology, (welding) there are two electrodes in the bulbs. The ballast creates a constant stream of electricity between the electrode and that is what creates the light source.

Q: What is a Plug and Play HID Xenon system?

A: Plug and Play refers to the ballast system, there is no wiring to the battery needed the system connect directly to the factory harness

Q: My headlight bulb has high and low do you have these?

A: We have both types, we mostly sell single beam (low beam) but we also carry the high and low beam kits too.

Q: I need a replacement bulb, do you sell just the bulbs it self?

A: Yes we sell the bulbs in singles but we recommend that you purchase them in pairs to keep the light color them same. We also have replacement ballast too. Please check on our replacement parts page (Click Here)

Q: What does the light temperature mean?

A: The light temperature of an HID Xenon Bulb refers to the color light that is emitted from the bulbs. Our best sellers are the 8000k temperature bulbs (light Blue- daylight)

Q: What is the difference between genuine XENON HID lights and Xenon gas-filled bulbs?

A: HID lights are brighter, more vivid and provide the maximum output possible. 3x the light output compared to halogen bulbs.
High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D.) is a type of lighting technology that replaces the filament of the light bulb with Xenon gas. The gas is ignited to produce an arc of light, when high voltage is applied. The amount of light output is three times that of a standard halogen bulb. The lamps also glow at a higher light temperature (closer to natural sunlight) that gives it its distinct color and appearance.

Q: How long will these bulbs last?

A:
HID XENON Systems are designed to last for the life of your vehicle approximately 3000hrs. M Vision HID Xenon lighting systems and kits are made of the finest materials available.

Q: Could I not just purchase a stronger watt halogen bulb to get a brighter light?

A: XENON H.I.D. lamps are 35 watts while traditional halogen bulbs are 55 watts. XENON H.I.D. lamps draw less current, they produce 3 times the light output compared to higher wattage halogen bulbs. Increasing the wattage on your bulb also increase the current draw on the entire electrical system. With higher wattage halogen light bulbs they emit more heat which can damage the head light housing.

Q: Why can I not just replace the halogen bulb in my vehicle with XENON HID lamps with out having to purchase the entire kit?

A: Motorcycles and automobiles currently use a 12-volt electrical system for their headlamps. Our kits include a power pack or (Ballast) that is necessary for the lamps to turn on and to regulate the voltage. The input of the power pack is 9-16 volts. It is an integral part of the system. The HID Xenon Conversion does not require any additional components to install the XENON HID lamp into the original socket of the halogen bulb. A HID Xenon kit is a system, not just high dollar bulbs. The wires that connect the bulbs to the ballasts on our Xenon Conversion Kits are special high voltage lines made just for this purpose.

Q: What does the XENON HID light system kit include?

A: Each kit includes: 2 direct replacement XENON H.I.D. lamps, 2 ultra slim plug and play ballasts (transformer / igniter unit), easy to follow installation instructions and wiring diagram. M vision HID kits do not require relays in the installation*.

Q: Could I install the kit myself?

A: Our kits are ready to install and come complete with everything that that is needed. The HID ballast are Super small, which make the installaion process 4 time easier. We also provide you a full set of easy-to-read, step-by-step instructions to guide you. But we do recommend having them professionally installed. Or just email us if you have any questions about installation.

Q: Could I re-install the original halogen bulbs after the Xenon H.I.D. lighting system has been installed?

A: Yes! Our kits install with little or no modifications to your vehicle. If need be, the entire kit can be removed and the original halogen bulbs replaced. This kit can be re-installed into another vehicle. (we also sell replacement bulbs to fit any other applications

Q: Will I lose the ability to use the High beams?

A: Almost all-original equipment H.I.D. lighting systems that come on new cars use separate bulbs for High and Low beams. A traditional halogen bulb is used for the High beam while a XENON H.I.D. system is utilized for the Low beam. Our kits are intended to replace the Low-beam components of the lighting system while still keeping the High beam halogen bulb fully operational.
But some vehicles use a single halogen bulb for both the High and Low beam (like H4, 9004 and 9007). We offer a kit for these vehicles as well. We are also offering the Dual Beam / Hi/Lo H4 9004 or 9007kit where both High and Low beam are preserved.

Q: Are these XENON HID light systems street legal?

A: Every state, country and jurisdiction has its own rules and regulations governing the use of automotive lighting. Please check with your local police enforcement agency for more information.

Troubleshooting:

Q: My lights flicker after I turn them on what is wrong?

A: Check if all the plugs are attached securely, and that the bulbs fit snugly in the headlight housing. Or it is either a capacitor problem, it mostly effects Dodge and European cars. We have a solution for the flicker, we have a flicker kit on our accessory page. (Click here)

Q: What will the systems work in?

A: The HID system we have will work in any car motorcycle or truck.

Q: I have a BMW, will the “light bulb warning” light turn on in my dash?

A: Unfortunately it will on the newer BMWs and Mercedes but we do sell a controller adapter that will solve the problem. Check on our accessory page. (Click here)
